Do the oddsmakers know something about DeAndre Hopkins’ next team that the rest of us don’t? The Tennessee Titans are in the hunt to sign the former Arizona Cardinals receiver, with a few other teams also in the mix.
However, the Titans might be the leaders in the clubhouse. DraftKings Sportsbook has suddenly made the Titans the heavy betting favorites to sign Hopkins. His odds moved from +500 on Tuesday to -300 at the time of this post on Wednesday, which is a major swing.
The next-closest team is the Patriots, who are +425 to sign Hopkins, followed by the Chiefs and Bills at +800. After that, the Lions are +2500, so DraftKings isn’t giving anyone besides the top four much of a chance.
At -300, a $300 bet would return a profit of $100. For comparison, a $300 bet on the Patriots would return a profit of $1,275. See the difference?

It’s unclear what caused this huge shift in the betting odds. It could be because former NFL general manager Mike Lombardi said this week that he thinks Hopkins will sign with the Titans, but he’s not exactly reporting anything substantial.
“I think the only team he’ll get more money out of is Tennessee. Because Tennessee certainly could use him. They need him,” Lombardi said.
ESPN’s Mike Reiss also said recently that the Titans have been “more aggressive” in their pursuit of Hopkins than the Patriots have been.
With training camps starting in a few weeks, it shouldn’t be long before we find out where Hopkins plays next.
