The Titans dropped an exciting announcement ahead of the 2023 NFL season, informing fans that some all-time great throwback jerseys would be making an appearance during the upcoming campaign.
On Sunday, the team’s official Twitter account released a short video featuring multiple players donning the powder blue and red jerseys, previously worn by the Houston Oilers.
According to Ari Meirov, Tennessee intends to wear the jerseys for two games during the 2023 NFL season, though they have not yet revealed when they’ll be worn.
Among the players featured in the teaser video were star running back Derrick Henry, cornerback Kevin Byard, standout defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons and quarterback Ryan Tannehill, among others.
The announcement of the return of the fan-favorite jerseys had Titans supporters fired up, with many quick to declare them the best throwback jerseys across the league.
