Using broadband internet will soon get more expensive for millions of customers

Broadband and mobile phone service providers will increase their prices by up to 14.4 per cent in April. BT Group has already confirmed plans to do so.

The 14.4 per cent figure derives from the current consumer price index measurement of inflation, which is 10.5 per cent, plus up to 3.9 per cent.
