Tipping Point viewers were left stunned over the weekend as Ben Shephard hosted a celebrity instalment of the hit ITV game show.
Ben Shephard fans tuned in for another instalment of the dramatised arcade game, which sees contestants battle it out to win a cash prize.
The game show consists of a series of questions quizzers must answer to win counters, which are then dropped into a huge arcade-style coin machine separated into four drop zones.
The Good Morning Britain presenter returned to the Tipping Point studio with the three celebrity hopefuls actor Joe McFadden, author Richard Herring and Love Island alum Olivia Attwood.
After the first round of the game show, Joe was in third place, Olivia was runner up and Richard was in the lead with the most money.
Host Ben cut in before the break to remind viewers of the pecking order, commenting: “So Richard is leading, Olivia you're currently in sloppy seconds.”
As the audience laughed, Olivia quipped: “Very sloppy.”
Ben said: “You're going to have to try and talk to the machine around and see if you can improve things in round three. Will Olivia do it?”
Tipping Point fans were left blushing over the cheeky remarking, with one writing on Twitter : “Did I just hear right on Tipping Point - ‘still in sloppy seconds’???”
Another added: “Sloppy seconds? a bit sexual,” as a third tweeted: “We know what Ben is thinking about talking sloppy seconds with Olivia.”
While Olivia gave the following heat her best effort, she was piped to the post by her fellow competitors and failed to make the final.
When Ben asked what letter appeared on motorcycle learner plates, she incorrectly answered ‘P’ instead of ‘L’.
Olivia also thought the right description for an illusion was “smoke and feathers”, not smoke and mirrors.
In the end, Richard made it through to the final round to try and win the £10,000 jackpot, but unfortunately failed to get the jackpot token out of the machine. However, he still walked away with £6,000 for his charity.
This comes after Ben was left cringing at one contestant as he hosted another instalment of the ITV game show recently.
Ben, 47, asked: “The only two American states to begin with the letter 'K' are Kansas and which other?”
As contestant Harry passed the question to his fellow competitor Dave, who correctly answered Kentucky, Harry blurted: “KFC, I should have got it, yeah.”
The surprise comment left Ben in stitches, while Dave knocked down an impressive 11 counters in the giant arcade machine as a result of answering the steal correctly.
