Tipperary legend Brendan Cummins hit out at Brian Cody after an infamous handshake with Henry Shefflin after Saturday's Leinster final.
The pair have a seemingly frosty relationship as they did battle for the second time in the Championship with Kilkenny reigning supreme.
And the former Tipperary goalkeeper said that he 'wouldn't agree' with Cody after the latest frosty handshake between the pair.
Speaking on RTE's Sunday Game, Cummins said: "I wouldn't agree with it, I think you just walk down the sideline and shake hands and say 'right, that's it. Thanks very much' and see you the next day and you move on.
"But he held the whole place in the palm of his hand last night with the cameras following him around and said I'd go over now in a minute or maybe I won't.
"Brian Cody is just very dogged in how he goes about things and he'd have been delighted that he got one over on Henry."
But Cummins also made a claim that the rivalry has reinvigorated the Cats boss.
He added: "I think it's absolutely energised Brian Cody. He's been around the block so much. The narrative the last three years is this is going to be Cody's last year and in fairness to the man, the amount he has done to rebuild things."
