Tiny Scots dog scoffs entire Easter egg nearly its own size before being rushed to vet

A tiny dog had to be rushed to the vets after scoffing a huge Easter egg almost the same size as it.

Chihuahua cross Fizz, aged five, swiped the chocolate egg from under a bed where it has been stashed by owner Katy McGarry. Katy, 38, was having dinner when she realised rescue dog Fizz wasn't by her side and went through to the bedroom where she discovered he had got into the egg.

Having previously worked in a vet practice, she knew just how dangerous chocolate could be and rushed him to the Vets Now Hospital in Glasgow.
