You will be able to fly from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Kos when Jet2 arrives next year.
Jet2 will start operating flights from the Speke-based airport next March, with 20 destinations on offer. Among these, seven will be new to the airport.
Kos is one of the new destinations brought to the airport by Jet2. Here, we look at what's on offer once you get to the Greek island.

A tiny Dodecanese island, which is only 26 miles by seven, Kos packs plenty into its little space. A recent travel review from Stylist magazine said: "This little island has heaps to offer, namely that azure blue Aegean sea, beautiful sandy beaches, glorious unspoilt spots and the total chill of island life."
A Which? survey earlier this year placed Kos sixth in a ranking of the Greek islands. It scored 80%, receiving four stars for beaches, five for food & drink, four for accommodation, three for attractions, four for scenery, three for shopping, four for peace & quiet and four for value for money.
Visitors praised its nightlife, while a number of historical sites of Greek and Roman ruins make for fascinating viewing - particularly the former temple Asklepion. Kardamena beach is a hub, surrounded by bars and restaurants with great sea views, that gets you to the heart of the action.
Agios Stefanos, Kefalos and Lambi are other beaches worth a visit, offering both bustling parts and picturesque places to relax. Kos Town and its many villages also have a lot to offer, with charming tight streets leading to small shops, plenty of bars and out to many harbours.
