Dating expert Anna Williamson has hailed Tinder Swindler victim Cecilie Fjellhøy for being brave enough to look for love once more as she joins the Celebs Go Dating agency.
The 33-year-old London-based Norwegian was one of a string of women to fall foul to the lies of Tinder Swindler Simon Leviev, with her story being aired in a hit Netflix series earlier this year.
Simon, whose real name is Shimon Hayut, duped her out of around £200,000 as the fraudster posed as a wealthy heir.
Now, despite her awful experience, Cecilie has decided to get back into the world of dating and enlisted the Celebs Go Dating agency to help her in her search.
The move has been praised by the show's expert, Anna, who said she was appalled by what happened to Cecilie and called her one of the most interesting figures to ever appear on the E4 show.
Speaking to the Mirror, Anna, 41, said: "She's probably one of our most interesting celebrities that we've ever had actually because she represents a hybrid between being a celebrity on the telly and being 'Joe Public', you know?
"She is known for being on a documentary where the most appalling happened, where she was assaulted by the Tinder Swindler, and it's left her in financial ruin. And it's left her in a very emotionally vulnerable place."
The Relationship Place co-founder continued: "For Cecilie to join the show, I think was very brave. [We had] to help put her trust back in dating and put her trust back in relationship."
Anna admitted she understands many viewers of the Tinder Swindler might have had preconceived ideas of Cecilie as a person due to the show, with not everyone supporting her.
However, she confessed it was great to dive deeper into the details of what went on in the disastrous relationship.
She added: "We really unpack so much more about what happened with Simon on the Tinder Swindler, the headspace Cecilie was in and is now in and how that has affected her and how that then helps or hinders her dating.
"But she was probably one of the most authentic celebrities we've ever had and you will see the fruits of that on the show."
Anna also opened up on the journey TOWIE's Pete Wicks takes on the show as he tries his luck for the third time.
Despite having a reputation of being a ladies' man and having a string of failed relationships, Anna believes fans will see a "different Pete" this time around after what she says has been an emotional year for the reality TV star.
Prior to the show getting underway - in which viewers said the same thing about Pete's return - Anna revealed: "Pete has the most phenomenal journey on this series."
And she added he "emotionally really unveiled himself this time" before she gushed over this year's show being "bigger and better than ever".
Elsewhere, the agency tries to help Gary Lucy, Laura Anderson, Sinitta, Bethan Kershaw, Liam Reardon and Navid Sole in their search for love.
