Timothée Chalamet has made history by becoming British Vogue 's first ever male cover star for the October issue.
The 26-year-old actor sat down with the prestigious publication to chat about his personal life and ever-growing film career.
Timothée, who hails from New York City, already has a pretty impressive filmography.
He has starred in Call Me by Your Name, Beautiful Women, Don't Look Up and Dune, and will play Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka in upcoming musical fantasy film Wonka.
Speaking to Vogue about his career so far, Timothée revealed: "I had a delusional dream in my early teenage years to have, in my late teenage years, an acting career.
"And in my late teenage years, working on Homeland and starting to do theatre in New York, I felt like I reduced my goal to something more realistic, which was to work in theatre and hopefully make enough money doing either a TV show or something I could sustain myself [with].
"And then it felt like every dream came true, exponentially. And then life is moving at six million miles per hour," he added.
Timothée went on to say that making films provides a perfect escape for him: “I hate to say it, but the dream as an artist is to throw whatever the f**k you want at the wall, you know?
"And I guess what I’m realising is that one’s personal life, one’s adult life, can be quite boring and the artist’s life can still be extraordinary.”
However, towards the end of the chat, the US actor was keen to add: "I’m grateful."
Timothée also sat down with British Vogue editor Edward Enninful in a NYC diner where he admitted he can cook, sort of.
"I can make breakfast, I can make a good devilled eggs," he laughed before tucking into a b urger and fries with Edward.
