Timo Werner has offered Christopher Nkunku some advice ahead of his prospective move to Chelsea. The 25-year-old was heavily linked with a switch to Stamford Bridge in the summer but a move failed to materialise.
In June, Nkunku penned a two-year extension at the Red Bull Arena, casting doubt as to whether a move would be on the cards. But, football.london understands that the RB Leipzig star has signed a pre-contract agreement with the Blues ahead of a proposed arrival at the end of the season.
It's believed that the west Londoners are long admirers of the France international and have been keen to sign him for a while. Chelsea have sent scouts to watch Nkunkuu over the past couple of seasons and have been mightily impressed with his performances, football.london also understands.
