Members of Timbiriche are publicly distancing themselves from a new ViX series bearing the legendary Mexican pop group's name, saying they were never consulted about the stories being dramatized and did not authorize the use of their image, voice or identity.
Alix Bauer, Diego Schoening, Mariana Garza, Erik Rubín, Benny Ibarra and Sasha Sokol issued a joint statement just days before Timbiriche premieres on ViX on Oct. 9.
