Tim Walz spent more than any other Democratic statewide candidate or officeholder in Minnesota

Minnesota Democratic statewide candidates and officeholders have spent $3.5 million during the 2022 election cycle. Among statewide officials and candidates, Tim Walz has spent more than any other Democrat.

Walz is Governor of Minnesota and is running for re-election in 2022. Walz raised $6.3 million and spent $2.6 million between Jan. 1, 2021, and July 18, 2022. According to Minnesota Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board reports, Walz spent the most money with the following individual payees and PACs.
