NEW DELHI: New Zealand's seasoned pacer Tim Southee made history on Friday as he became the first bowler to surpass the 150-wicket mark in T20Is. This milestone was achieved during the first T20I against Pakistan at Eden Park in Auckland, where Southee delivered an outstanding performance with figures of 4/25 in his four-over spell.
Southee reached the landmark, with Abbas Afridi becoming his 150th victim in T20Is. Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan (140) holds the second spot, followed by Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan (130) and Kiwi spinner Ish Sodhi (127).
