Fulham defender Tim Ream agreed that Georginio Rutter's disallowed goal during Leeds United's 2-0 defeat at Craven Cottage last month was a 'soft call'.
Weston McKennie was penalised for nudging Harry Wilson in the build-up, before Rutter pounced to fire home the rebound. But the goal was ruled out almost immediately, and Leeds were subsequently eliminated from the FA Cup in the fifth round.
McKennie appeared on the Indirect Podcast alongside his fellow USA teammate Ream, and the pair both joked that Wilson should've received an Oscar.

“Dude, honestly in that game, it was a soft call when they called a foul on me from the corner kick that we scored from, your guy should get an acting award,” McKennie told the Indirect Podcast.
Ream replied: “He should get an Oscar no? The slow-mo makes it much worse as well, the way he throws his hands in the air. Listen, I agree."
Two stunning goals from Joao Palhinha and Manor Solomon in either half secure Fulham's passage into the quarter-final.
Leeds had reached the fifth round of the competition for the first time since 2016, but have not reached the quarter-finals in 20 years.
