NEW DELHI: India allrounder Shardul Thakur has recently shared insights into the difficult conditions faced by the Indian cricket team during their 2020-21 tour of Australia. Despite numerous injuries and setbacks, India managed to emerge victorious, winning the series 2-1.
The tour started on a disastrous note for India, as they suffered a humiliating collapse in the first Test in Adelaide, being bowled out for a mere 36 runs. The situation further deteriorated with the departure of Virat Kohli and an injury to Mohammed Shami, leaving the team in a vulnerable position.
