A disciplinary twist has emerged from Royal Challengers Bengaluru's title-winning IPL 2026 campaign, with batter Tim David handed a one-match suspension for next season after breaching the league's Code of Conduct during Sunday's final against Gujarat Titans.

The IPL on Monday fined David 50% of his match fee and awarded him two demerit points for a Level 1 offence committed during the IPL 2026 final clash at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
