TikTok users have been left divided after a woman said she "looks like a potato" next to her "insanely hot" fiancé. Author Hazel McBride said she was "average-looking" compared to her partner in a now-viral video, but was met with an outpouring of support from her loving followers.
In the video, which has now been viewed more than seven million times since it was posted in February, Hazel and her partner react to an audio, which says: "Yeah, but when are we gonna see insanely hot men with average-looking women?". In the short clip, she poses next to her husband-to-be, showing off his chiselled features and cheeky smile.
But despite joking that she "looks like a potato" in the video, Hazel went on to say how she does not feel self-conscious about her appearance and was totally comfortable with her model-like fiancé. However, TikTok viewers were quick to disagree with her.
