TikTok user claims changing one little thing in your car could catch partner cheating

A social media video has gone viral and caused a lot of discussion - after a woman claimed that changing one thing in a car can catch a partner out if they're cheating.

Even though Valentine's Day is less than a week away, apparently there's still plenty of issues to work out for some couples.

This was highlighted in a perfect manner by a short clip on TikTok last week.

User @aurielouisse shared a video of her opening the sun visor on the passenger side of her boyfriend’s car and pulling its mirror halfway, then closing the visor with the mirror still partially open.

She captioned the video with an explanation, writing: "how to know if he’s seeing someone LOL, #hack".

If someone else used the visor mirror, then it will have either been left fully open or all the way closed.

The trick has almost four million views, 212,000 likes and over 1,000 comments on TikTok, with users debating the hack in the comment section.

One user wrote: " “1. Boys use mirrors too 2. His mom or sister or someone from his family could’ve used it 3. He might of used it 4. If u can’t trust him then break up.”"

Another said: “If there is no trust, there is no relationship.”

While others argued: "if your gut is telling you something is off, it's probably true." and "Whatever happened to trust? Or if you have that much of an issue, just talk to him. If you can't simply ask, then there's something wrong."
