TikTok has announced they are tightening their enforcement against abusive content in time for Safer Internet Day 2023.
The social media giant has teamed up with some well-known Irish creators to assist parents and guardians in guiding their teenagers on their digital journey. They have also updated their system for account enforcement to better act against repeat offenders of abusive content.
“These changes will help TikTok be more efficient and quicker when removing harmful content and accounts, while also better supporting the vast majority of creators who want to follow our policies,” a TikTok spokesperson said.
