Police and highways chiefs have warned youngsters not to use motorways for making social media videos. It comes after four teenagers were moved from the side of a major route while trying to film.
The youths, whose ages were not released by officers, were given "stern words of wisdom" following the incident earlier today (Monday, May 2). Police and traffic officers attended the scene at the M1 near Barnsley in South Yorkshire.
In a tweet, National Highways Yorkshire said: “If there is one message we would like to firmly get across today it’s a road safety message. The motorway is no place to make TikTok videos.
