Parents are being warned about a viral TikTok trend after emergency services in one part of England received numerous callouts over the past month.
Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service (MFRS) revealed that staff had been called to 18 incidents involving children and teens trapped in playground equipment since the start of April - with 14 of these taking place in May alone.
And according to the service, they all involved people becoming caught in baby and infant swings in playgrounds and unable to free themselves. It is believed the teens became trapped trying to emulate a "challenge" seen on social media platform TikTok.
