TikTok star Victor Kunda leads stars tucking into burgers backstage at the MOBO Awards

Yung Filly, Cat Burns and TikTok star Victor Kunda were treated backstage as awards sponsor McDonalds drove their McCrispy van into the heart of the Wembley OVO Area.

The MOBO Awards has become one of Europe’s biggest Music Award ceremonies– with the likes of Rihanna, Stormzy, Jay Z, and Cardi B, known to have taken centre stage.

McDonald’s, who sponsored Video of the Year at 25th MOBO Awards was allowed backstage access to deliver it's trademark McCrispy to keep them fuelled for the long night of celebrations.

The ceremony saw chart-topping west London drill rapper Central Cee named the best male act alongside Pink Pantheress, who won best female act, while his song Doja also won video of the year.

Not only that, but exclusive merch including beanies and hoodies were gifted to performers like Craig David, Fire Boy and Tion Wayne.

Loved by famous faces, such as DJ and presenter, Maya Jama, the delicious McCrispy, has taken the UK by storm since its launch in October. And with this first of its kind partnership, the first permanent chicken burger to be added to the McDonald’s menu in 15 years is leading the way.

The awards, which recognise and celebrate black music and culture, saw another successful year for Little Simz, who secured Album of the Year Award in a joint win with Chunkz for their albums Sometimes I Might Be Introvert and Alpha Place.

Little Simz has had an incredible year after also claiming a Mercury Prize in October and was named best new artist at the Brit Awards.
