An American vlogger's take on scouse expressions he learned from his Liverpudlian ex-wife have proved a hit on TikTok.
Vlogging under the handle VFC Travels, the man's videos have garnered hundreds of thousands of views as he talks people through famous scouse phrases and their meanings. In one clip, captioned 'what my ex-scouse bird used to say', he jokes about the word 'divvy' which he says his former partner used to call him.
He then shares some other Liverpool sayings and phrases, telling fans: “The ozzy is the hospital, the offy is where you go and get your liquor. Bizzy is the [police]... chippy is where you go for fish and chips. A fag is slang for cigarette, that threw me off the first time I heard that.
