TikTok star Minikon explains feud with UFC's Kevin Holland ahead of ring return

TikTok star Minikon would be keen to box UFC fighter Kevin Holland after the pair's recent war of words on social media.

Holland and Minikon were training partners when the social media star was preparing for his boxing debut earlier this year, but the social media sensation changed coaches, leading to issues between the pair. And Holland was not complimentary of his former teammate when asked by Mirror Fighting if he was backing him to win this weekend against Nick Joseph.

Asked at UFC 281 in New York last week if the pair were friends, Holland responded that "training at the same gym doesn't mean you're buddies". He insisted that they hadn't fallen out, but declared that they weren't friends before imploring the social media star to give up on boxing.

"I didn't say we don't get along, I just said we aren't buddies," Holland said. "I would say we were associates or something like that, we trained at the same gym, he's a cool guy but not my buddy." Asked if Minikon would win his upcoming fight he responded: "Probably not. I hate to be like that but I'm just being honest, dude's a really cool guy, but I think he should just stick to YouTube and not fighting."

Minikon, who has yet to record an official victory in two boxing outings despite fans believing he beat both Armz Korleone and basketball star Nick Young this year, has now hit back and declared that he would face Holland in the right circumstances. But first, he will first have to get through Joseph in his professional debut this Saturday on DAZN as part of Misfits Boxing's third show.

"Basically me and Kevin used to train with the same coach," Minikon explained. "I had to let that coach go and he just took that personal. I never said we were friends either, I just said that was my training partner, but we were cool and now I really don't care I'm just down to fight him.

"I'd fight him wherever, whenever, but I need some money first. I'm not stupid, I wouldn't do the octagon but I'd be there to punish him in the ring. I'm not even there to win I just want to punch him."
