Harry Styles took the stage in style on Sunday night, with the second most-followed TikTok star in the world introducing the singer to the 80,000 strong crowd at Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard
Khaby Lame, who has over 140million fans on the social media platform, was the one to bring the Watermelon Sugar singer on for his highly-anticipated performance at Wembley Stadium - huge surprise to the ecstatic crowd.
Speaking ahead of the former One Direction singer’s set on Sunday, Capital Breakfast presenter Roman Kemp described the moment as the biggest in the concert’s history.
Speaking alongside his co-workers Sonny Jay and Sian Welby, the radio star was excited to get to see the world of social media and music collide on Sunday night.
Speaking exclusively to the Mirror backstage, Roman confessed Khaby’s then-upcoming introduction would be the concert’s wildest on-stage moment of all time.
“To get the biggest TikTok star in the world to bring out Harry Styles is pretty cool,” Roman stated when asked how the concert could top previous years.
“To get Khaby on to do that is pretty cool.”
Harry, 28, was magnetic on stage as the crowd erupted into endless screams and roars as he belted out tunes from his latest record-breaking album, Harry's House.
His surprise appearance at the Summertime Ball comes just hours after his concert turned into a horror show when a fan reportedly plunged from the balcony into the crowd below.
The One Direction star was performing in Glasgow's Ibrox stadium last night in the first concert the venue had held in almost two decades.
The sold-out gig in Scotland is only the second time Harry has returned to the UK stage, following his one-night only gig in London on May 24.
More than 50,000 fans had turned out to see the star's Love On Tour offering in the Ibrox - but the night ended in disaster.
Police say a man fell from the Club Deck, which is on the third tier of seating in the stadium.
Medics rushed to the scene to assist the fan, whose current condition is as yet unknown.
A Police Scotland spokesperson told the Mirror: “Officers were made aware of a man falling from a club deck at a premises on Edmiston Drive, Glasgow at around 10.15pm on Saturday, 11 June, 2022."
The accident is said to have happened at 10.15pm with Police confirming there were "no suspicious circumstances involved".
After the incident, fans at the concert flooded social media with their concern for the fallen fan.
One said: "Y’all.. at the Glasgow Harry Styles concert I literally watched someone fall from the balcony. It was so f*****g scary. But my sister saw him talking to security after so we think he’s okay."
Another tweeted: "Happened right in front of me was so shocked."
While a third said: "Sadly we saw someone fall from the club deck at Harry Styles tonight in Glasgow. Praying they are ok".
The Mirror has contacted the Ibrox stadium for comment.
