TikTok star goes viral for rating Molly-Mae Hague, Gemma Collins and other celebs he's served at high-end Manchester restaurant

A TikTok star has gone viral after rating a number of celebrities and reality TV stars who he has served whilst working at a luxury restaurant in Manchester

Darragh Greene, who has close to 60,000 subscribers and more than 7.4 million likes on the social media platform, has recently begun a series where he rates the likes of Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague, rapper Aitch and reality TV icon Gemma Collins based on his interactions with them.

The most recent video has now been viewed more than 830,000 times since being uploaded on Thursday (April 27). In the latest video, he says Molly-Mae was the first celebrity he encountered whilst working at the restaurant when she came in to celebrate her birthday.

“She came in with Maura Higgins and Ellie Brown, so she came in with her big posse for her birthday and when they came in they were kinda hovering around the table. With Covid regulations at the time so we had to do like, you know, sit the **** down cause they were taking photos and stuff.

“Once they got down, I’d say they’re all a pretty tame table. They were given some free steaks, which they didn't finish, and she had a birthday cake. The chef’s literally gave the girls a slither of a cake cause you know these girls have Instagram to upload in bikinis and we can’t be going overboard with them. We actually ate the cake after they left so that was nice.”

Darragh, who has not revealed the restaurant he used to work at, said Maura was ‘really nice’ and was his favourite of the three Love Island stars. “She was really interested in the food and she was like ‘what’s that there now coming down’ cause our steaks used to come down on like a smoking pot," he said. "She was nice but I was so nervous I couldn’t even say anything to her.”

He added that she was like a ‘proper sculpted model type’ and was ‘the one everyone was looking at’ on the table.

Speaking of Ellie, he said: “Ellie is very direct and I’ve heard this from a few members of staff that I worked with, she’s been in three times. She doesn’t bother with the niceties, she’s just to the point and direct. I can’t say rude because I don't know these people but, you know, take from that what you will.”

In another video, Darragh said of Ellie: “I can’t say she’s a bad person or she’s rude but I’m not going to say she’s a pleasure either.”

Love Island star Jack Fowler, who dined with Ellie, was described as being ‘very nice, very chatty’ and made jokes when the food was left out on the table. Jordan Hames from Love Island was described as being ‘extremely animated and very engaging’.

He explained: “He looked at me when he was speaking which is just the bare minimum but you wouldn’t be surprised at the amount of people who just treat you like ‘come here, doggy’.”

Speaking of rapper Aitch, who is headlining this year’s Parklife, Darragh said: “He was a bit of a regular at the restaurant I worked at. One thing that stood out to me that I thought was quite cool is the fact that he comes with his friends from home.

“He’s not surrounded by managers, security guards or influencers. It’s people he’s obviously known for a long time which I think speaks volumes about someone’s character.”

Mentioning The Only Way Is Essex star Gemma Collins, Darragh said: “She came in on our floor to scope out the private room which very rich people hire out or like if you have a big party of people. I was in the kitchen. I just heard ‘it’s bloody gorgeous, isn’t it’ and she’s walking out of the room in these huge heels and she’s also wearing a pair of these sparkly glasses.

“It was just kind of funny that she was just like walking about the place cause this was Covid so people weren’t allowed to be up and running. She then proceeded to get a photo at the front of our bar, which again wasn’t allowed but i feel like we just let that slide cuz it was the GC.

“She did come into the restaurant a lot, just not my floor. I think I heard rumblings of her maybe trying to get a discount because she was a regular before but I don’t know if that happened or not.”

Darragh said one of the ‘nicest ever’ celebrities he met in the job was Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby. He explained: “(She) came in twice, my friend who waited for her thought he recognised her and he asked ‘do I know you from somewhere?’, and she said: ‘oh yeah, you might have seen me on Crime Watch’.

"She didn’t allude to the fact that she was famous for Geordie Shore or anything which I thought was quite humble of her, it’s kinda funny.”

He added: “When I served her the next time, she was with a friend and she was just so vocal and she’s like ‘thanks, just leave it there’, just so nice. Couldn’t say thank you enough. She was very appreciative and just kinda went above the baseline thank you. I thought she was very nice.”
