TikTok Live’s viewing figures have rocketed and it now controls most of the world's live-streaming audience. Data analytics firm Stream Hatchet's Q2 2026 Live-Streaming Trends Report shows the platform captured 50.9% of the global live-streaming market between April and June 2026, generating 8.9 billion hours watched and surpassing every legacy platform combined (including Twitch and YouTube Gaming), changing how esports audiences gobble up live content.
The total global live-streaming figure for the quarter reached a staggering 17.5 billion hours. TikTok Live's 3.9% quarter-on-quarter growth pushed it over the majority threshold, with legacy platforms lagging behind with a paltry (jokes) 8.5 billion logged hours.
