The Court of Appeal has reduced the minimum term of a life sentence for TikTok influencer Mahek Bukhari, who murdered her mother’s lover and his friend after a high-speed car chase.
Bukhari was jailed for at least 31 years and eight months in September 2023 for her involvement in the February 2022 murders of Saqib Hussain and Mohammed Hashim Ijazuddin. Her mother, Ansreen Bukhari, was also convicted and imprisoned for a minimum of 26 years and nine months.
