Changing your lightbulbs can be such a pain - especially if the lights are in high places that require the effort of a ladder.
But one TikToker has shared their genius trick to replacing a lightbulb without having to move a muscle.
The TikTok account @insta360_official has revealed a techy solution where instead of having to fix the bulb manually, a drone does all the work for you by flying the bulb up in the air and into position, as the footage shows.
But how on earth does it secure the bulb? After all, we always find ourselves having to use manpower to twist the bulb into place.
Well, the drone is incredibly able to do this.
After slotting the bulb into place, the footage shows the drone being able to measure the rotation and spinning around to secure it tightly in position.
All of this takes place as music from 2014 Interstellar plays in the background - most likely a nod to the similarity between the two.
While the drone secures the light bulb in this TikTok, it echoes the infamous scene from the film, which shows Matthew McConaughey’s character Cooper as he carefully positions his ship in place with another craft that is spinning out of control in order to dock.
Admittedly, the film’s docking skills were more important - the crew being on the verge of life and death an’ all.
(But it’s worth saying, both equally had us on the edge of our seats).
Since sharing the impressive clip, it has received over 3.6m views and over 450,000 likes.
Thousands of people have also commented on the video, expressing how impressed they are with the stunt.
One person wrote: “Got me sweating over a lightbulb.”
“I was emotionally involved in this,” another person said.
Someone else added: “This is the GREATEST TikTok ever made.”
“This is amazing, billions of years of evolution and then centuries of technology leading up to this little guy screwing in a lightbulb,” a fourth person replied.
