A woman has sparked a debate after she made a sharing pasta dish served directly to her kitchen table.
Posting on TikTok with the caption “yesterday’s pasta night with the girlies”, the woman poured pasta onto sheets of tin foil on her table then topped each section with one of three different sauces – one which appears to be a mushroom sauce, one tomato sauce with slices of chicken, and another bolognese sauce. The sections merge together.
In the background, her guests sit with plastic plates and cutlery ready to take portions of the dish and tuck in.
But reacting to her night with the girlies, some people were not on board. One person said: “Unnecessary.”

Another asked: “Why not just put it in three big serving bowls, something classy?”
But others thought it wasn’t such a bad idea. One said: “Uhh the comment section ain’t it, they ain’t watching the nacho/ loaded fry TikToks [where people put these foods directly on the table too] and it shows.”
Another tagged their friend and said: “Now this is something that we need to do.”
And another said: “My mouth is watering.”
As far as we’re concerned, pasta is good however it is served.
