Tightness in Coffee Supplies Underpins Prices

September arabica coffee (KCU25) today is up +14.00 (+4.53%), and September ICE robusta coffee (RMU25) is up +188 (+5.28%).

Coffee prices today are sharply higher, with arabica surging to a 7-week high and robusta soaring to a 4-week high.  Signs of tighter coffee supplies are supporting prices after Brazil's Trade Ministry last Wednesday reported that Brazil's July unroasted coffee exports fell -20.4% y/y to 161,000 MT.
