The latest results out of Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin from a Marist Poll suggest tight races in all three states. According to the poll, there is a slight tilt towards Harris in Michigan and Wisconsin.
In Michigan, Harris leads Trump by a margin of 51% to 48% among likely voters. Similarly, in Wisconsin, Harris is ahead of Trump by 50% to 48%. In Pennsylvania, the race is even tighter with Harris at 50% and Trump at 48%. It's important to note that these results are based on a head-to-head matchup between Harris and Trump and do not include third-party candidates.
While the margins in these polls fall within the sampling error, indicating no clear leader, recent high-quality polls from Michigan and Wisconsin show a slight advantage for Harris. The polls now show Harris leading Trump by 49% to 46% in both Michigan and Wisconsin.
On the other hand, Pennsylvania presents a more mixed picture with recent polls pointing towards a tie. Out of six polls released this week, all results were within the margin of error, suggesting a close race. Three polls indicated a tie, one showed Trump with a 1-point lead, and two found Harris with a narrow advantage. This indicates a highly competitive race for Pennsylvania's crucial 19 electoral college votes, with the polls currently tied at 48% for both candidates.
