Richmond forward Tom Lynch has been sent straight to the AFL Tribunal for the bump that concussed Western Bulldogs defender Alex Keath on Saturday night.

Lynch is facing a minimum three-match suspension after electing to bump instead of going for the mark in the first quarter of the five-point loss.

Keath was running with the flight of the ball and didn't have a chance to protect himself as Lynch made contact.

He was ruled out for the rest of the game with concussion.

The incident was assessed as careless conduct, severe impact and high contact.

But any ban won't have an effect on Lynch's availability, given he is already set to miss an extended period due to a broken foot.

Nevertheless, Richmond coach Damien Hardwick is sure to be miffed that Lynch will receive a suspension.

Following the loss to the Bulldogs, Hardwick expressed displeasure that Lynch's collision with Keath was even being talked about in regards to a possible suspension.

"What for? For being tough in the contest?" Hardwick said.

Adelaide's Jake Soligo has been slapped with a $2500 fine for making contact with a goal umpire while celebrating his soccered goal.

He can escape with a $1500 fine with an early plea.

Port Adelaide ruckman Scott Lycett can accept a $2000 fine with an early plea for his rough conduct charge on Sydney's Lance Franklin.
