Tiemoue Bakayoko leaves clubs anxious with latest transfer decision - Chelsea loan round-up

Nathan Baxter - There has been a great deal of speculation that the Hull City loanee would end his time with the Tigers due to the severity of his injury. However, Hull boss Liam Rosenoir described his and Xavier Simons situations as different to Harvey Vale, who has returned to Cobham. Nevertheless, Baxter remains out injured.

Eddie Beach - The 19-year-old goalkeeper found victory with Chelmsford City at the third attempt with an impressive performance helping his side to a win over Weymouth. The loanee earned a place in the Vanarama National League team of the week for his efforts.

Jamie Cumming - The Dons fell 1-0 to Shrewsbury this midweek having defeated Forest Green 2-1 previously. The on-loan goalkeeper continues to impress with reports suggesting that Chelsea's opportunity to recall the stopper has passed.

Speculation arose when Cumming returned to Cobham earlier in the month. MK Dons boss Mark Jackson explained: “I always like to work with the parent clubs because that relationship is important,” he said. “There was a chance for Jamie to go back to Chelsea for a few days.

“I spoke to one of the loan managers there, who I know well, and he asked for our permission for him to go back for a few days, and it was important for the relationship to let Jamie do that. Ultimately, he's their player."

Teddy Sharman-Lowe - The goalkeeper has yet to play after joining Havant & Waterlooville due to postponed matches.

Ethan Wady - Woking's most recent matches have been postponed.

Malang Sarr - Last featured off the bench in Monaco's 7-1 win over Ajaccio, with the French side having not played since January 15.

Ethan Ampadu - The Wales international started in midfield for Spezia as they fell 2-0 to Roma. The 22-year-old did somewhat humorously wag his finger at Jose Mourinho as the former Chelsea boss remonstrated with officials during the clash after Nicola Zalewski was not awarded a penalty.

Levi Colwill - The defender could be out for up to six weeks having recently established himself firmly in Brighton's side.

Henry Lawrence - Lawrence has started on the bench for each of MK Dons' last two games but did feature in the win over Forest Green.

Ian Maatsen - It was another impressive outing for the Burnley loanee as his side defeated West Brom 2-1.

Sam McClelland - Remains absent from Barrow squad after suffering a hernia issue at the end of 2022.

Baba Rahman - Like his teammates, had a difficult afternoon and was replaced as Reading lost 4-0 to Stoke.

Dujon Sterling - Earned a 25-minute cameo in Stoke's win on his way back from a groin injury.

Tino Anjorin - Remains out with an ankle injury.

Tiemoue Bakayoko - The midfielder has yet to play for Milan this term and as the Rossoneri but the Italian side's defeat to Lazio saw a rare occasion where Bakayoko was entirely absent from the squad. Reports suggested the midfielder was set for a move to Adana Demirspor in Turkey and noted his willingness to accept the move.

Since then it appears that Bakayoko asked for more time reflect and his prospective new side may have lost patience. The move is said to have left Milan anxious as they hoped to save £2million in wages.

Xavier Simons - The midfielder was once again absent from Hull's squad as they lost to Sheffield United but Liam Rosenoir continued his high praise of the Chelsea loanee, with the Tigers understood to be keen to make his move permanent.

He said: "With Xavi, I love the kid, I think he's got a great future in the game, and he's someone I enjoy working with, and want to work with in the long-term."

Romelu Lukaku - The Belgian came off of the Inter Milan bench with 15 minutes to spare but he could not change his team's fortunes as they fell 1-0 to Empoli.

Callum Hudson-Odoi - A difficult evening saw Hudson-Odoi replaced at half-time as Bayer Leverkusen beat VFL Bochum 2-0.

Bryan Fiabema - The striker has not featured in a Forest Green squad since FA Cup defeat to Birmingham City.
