The Baltimore Ravens have seen rather consistent success on the football field ever since entering the NFL in 1996. There have been many great TV and radio voices to call their wins, losses, and even ties, and that should continue for a very long time.
It was announced by Baltimore that the team has agreed to a multi-year deal with Tico Sports to have the network continue broadcasting Ravens games in Spanish. The broadcast team will continue to be led by David Andrade doing play-by-play and Allen Gutierrez as the analyst. Ravens chief sales officer Kevin Rochlitz expressed his excitement for the partnership.
“David and Allen form a knowledgeable and passionate broadcasting duo – one that our Latino fans will enjoy listening to on gameday…We are excited about this partnership with Tico and our shared commitment to delivering greater access to Latino fans in the Baltimore area. We also believe this affiliation will broaden our fan base by allowing us to further connect with those who continue to show a growing interest in the Ravens.”
Oscar Monterroso of Tico Sports, also commented on the new partnership.
“We are very excited to partner with a team with such a strong legacy, culture of excellence and commitment to community as the Baltimore Ravens…The new agreement represents our strategic path to expand our footprint as a third-party multi-media solution for professional sports teams that seek to increase engagement with a community known for loyalty, love of sports and increased purchasing power.”
