July may be a huge month for live music in Manchester, playing host to bands like Kings of Leon and Primal Scream, as well as artists like Sam Fender and Roger Daltry. But it’s also the perfect opportunity to buy tickets to shows later in the year, with some fantastic artists announcing tours for later in the year.
And this morning, not one, but three stellar performers and bands are releasing tickets to their Manchester shows.
American singer-songwriter Ne-Yo is coming to the city in September, followed by Inhaler - who supported Kings of Leon at the AO Arena this week - in October, and Sticks ‘n’ Stones singer Jamie T will play in November.

Jamie T
Some 15 years after his debut, Jamie T returns with his fifth album, The Theory of Whatever. The Wimbledon-born artist released Panic Prevention in 2007, which included the singles 'Sheila' and 'Calm Down Dearest', reaching No.9 in the UK singles charts.
Two years later, he returned with the release of his single 'Sticks 'n' Stones' and a music video filmed nearly entirely in his hometown of Wimbledon, followed by his sophomore album Kings and Queens' which arrived later that same year.
Carry On the Grudge which dropped in 2014 including the singles 'Don't You Find' and 'Zombie'. Trick followed in 2016 which saw Jamie T head back out on tour across the UK that same year.
In 2022, Jamie T headlined the John Peel stage at Glastonbury for the second time after the release of his latest album. He later announced a major UK tour with nine dates across the UK including a performance at Manchester’s O2 Victoria Warehouse.
Tickets to the show on Thursday, November 17 will go on sale at 9am - all tickets will be unreserved standing.
Inhaler
Hot off the back of supporting Kings of Leon, Dublin’s Inhaler will return to Manchester with a headline show later this year. Fronted by Bono’s son, Elijah Hewson, Inhaler play ‘cinematic indie rock with a post punk slant’.
The band formed in 2012 and kept playing together all through secondary school, self-releasing their debut single in 2019 entitled It Won't Always Be Like This. This was quickly followed by second single My Honest Face and a tour with Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds.
Their debut album was released in 2021, with a tour in the UK and Ireland stopping of at Manchester Academy on Saturday, October 15. Tickets will go on sale at 9.30am today and you can find them here.
Ne-Yo
Grammy Award-winning Shaffer Chimere Smith, better known as Ne-Yo, began his music career in an RnB band called Envy, but his early talents were initially recognised as a songwriter.
His first major success as a writer was a collaboration with Mario on the singer's hit, Let Me Love You. In 2005 he released his debut single, Stay, but it was his follow up single, So Sick, that launched his career, topping the Pop 100, Hot one hundred and Hot Digital Songs chart listings in 2006.
His first album, In My Own Words, was released on a wave of popularity, selling over 300,000 copies in a single week and hitting No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 200.
Ne-Yo will play the Bowlers Exhibition Centre, Manchester on Wednesday, September 21. Tickets will be available to buy from 10am on Ticketmaster here.
