Ticketmaster CRASHES as fans flood site to get Taylor Swift tickets for UK and EU leg of Eras Tour

Ticketmaster has crashed after fans rushed to the website to purchase tickets for the UK and EU leg of Taylor Swift's tour.

Presale tickets to the Bad Blood star's European tour went on sale at 11am on Monday to select fans who pre-ordered her Midnights album. From 10am onwards, fans began reporting issues with the website.

Thousands upon thousands of fans have been queueing for a chance to see Taylor at her 2024 shows. Ticketmaster and AXS are dealing phenomenal demand, so much so that they have staggered slots for various shows and dates.

Fans who purchased her Midnights album between August 29, 2022 and October 27, 2022 would have received an e-mail with their unique pre-sale access code that can't be shared with others.

The 11am pre-sale tickets are for the June 21 date at Wembley, London and June 7 date at BT Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh.

At 1pm, two more shows will go live, Wembley's August 15 date and BT Murrayfield's June 8 date. And finally, at 3pm, fans will have the chance to buy pre-sale tickets for the June 9 date at Edinburgh's BT Murrayfield Stadium.

The unique pre-sale codes can be used to gain access for all of the times above, providing you are not already successful at gaining tickets.

Fans have been complaining about the issue on social media, with some claiming they were kicked out of the queue.

"That was great @TicketmasterUK, got in to buy #TaylorSwift tickets for my daughter, a massive massive fan, and just as I got in, you kicked me out with an error," one user said.

"Now back in queue at 18000 odd, with no chance of a ticket. Super."

Another posted a screengrab of the website's error page, tweeting: "Before it even went to waiting room status…."
