Running from June 15 to 18, the regional qualifier features some of China’s strongest teams battling through a double-elimination bracket for two coveted Dota 2 TI 2026 main stage slots. While every team in the field has a path to qualification, several squads stand out as the strongest contenders. Vici Gaming enters the qualifier as one of the most recognizable organizations in the region, featuring TI6 winners Bach (popularly known as Faith_bian) and y` along with other TI veterans.
Yakutou Brothers, led by Lou, Setsu, and kaka, have emerged as one of the most dangerous teams in the Chinese scene with their aggressive style and strong recent performances from the Open Qualifier. Team Refuser, spearheaded by Monet and Paparazi, could be one of the dark-horse candidates to reach the TI.
TI 2026 China Qualifier format
The China regional qualifier will use a double-elimination bracket format. Eight teams compete for two TI 2026 slots. All matches are best-of-three (BO3), including the qualifying matches.
The top two teams qualify directly for The International 2026 main stage.
