Traffic was brought to a standstill at around 7.45am today near Ibrox after the rammy broke out between the duo in front of a line of cars.
The motorist had jumped from his car at a junction on Edminston Drive to challenge the man on his bike.
But the driver was left in a heap on the ground after suffering a series of brutal blows to the face.
