Thunderstorms have been forecast to hit Nottingham on Friday, March 31. On a largely rainy day, BBC Weather forecasters predict thundery showers could hit Nottingham between 11am and 12noon.
According to the organisation's predictions, rain will fall for the majority of the day and temperatures will reach highs of 12C or 13C. Showers will turn to drizzle by 8pm.
The Met Office has not forecast any storms as of yet. However, on its outlook for today, a spokesperson said: "Cloudy and wet for much of Friday, with drizzle and showery rain likely to become heavy at times, particularly during the afternoon. Fairly light winds, although some stronger gusts are possible around showers. Maximum temperature 13C."
Fortunately, the wet weather will not be with us for too long. While some light rain is forecast for Saturday, April 1, the Met Office is predicting a "drier and brighter Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, with some sunny spells."
