The Met Office has warned there is a small chance of travel disruption which will no doubt not be great news for anyone travelling to Glastonbury or Bristol Sounds this evening. There is also a small chance of flooding but fortunately Bristol is so far expected to avoid the worst of the thunderstorms with most of the area only predicted heavy rain.
Only parts of South Gloucestershire are currently predicted to get any thunder. However, heavy showers and thunder are expected in Gloucestershire this afternoon.
