Advice and prediction
I’ve felt like I’ve said this multiple times already this season, but this is going to be a tough one to pick.
If Ingram was healthy, I think I’d pick the Pelicans pretty easily. But with his likely absence, it closes the gap between both teams.
With that established, I think the Pelicans are playing better than what their record indicates. They have the fourth-best net rating in the league, outscoring opponents by 5.4 points per 100 possessions. Despite this, their 11-8 record likely indicates some bad luck in close games.
I think I’ll go with the Pelicans in this games as Zion Williamson should be able to feast in the interior with his massive size.
Prediction: Pelicans 125, Thunder 119
