More rain is forecast for Leeds on Thursday (April 6) with thunder possible in some parts of the region.
Rain and some thundery weather is forecast for Leeds today after glorious sunshine for the first part of the week. Temperatures are expected to enter double figures, according to Met Office, with rain forecast for most of the day and evening.
The Met Office said: "Generally dry to start, before scattered showers, some heavy and possibly thundery, develop in the afternoon. Continuing into the evening, before dissipating overnight to leave clear skies. Coastal winds strengthening. Maximum temperature 13 °C."

It will be an overcast start to Thursday in Leeds until 8am where the weather is forecast to turn cloudy. There will be some sunny intervals at 11am, before turning overcast once more after midday until 3pm. At 4pm light rain is forecast for the city turning to light showers at 6pm into the night.
Outlook for Friday to Sunday
Scattered showers Friday, with cloud arriving. Saturday and Sunday, early morning fog possible but generally dry with sunny spells and low cloud near coasts. Scattered afternoon showers possible on Saturday.
