A driver described his horror after a gang smashed the window of a Stagecoach bus.
The incident happened at around 7.30pm on Tuesday at the junction of Mark Rake and The Rake in Bromborough. The bus window was smashed with what appears to be a paving slab.
Speaking to the ECHO, the Stagecoach driver, who did not want to be named, said he had two passengers on the bus at them time.

He said: "Luckily I only had two passengers on my bus and they were sat quite near the front. It shook me up quite a bit to say the least because someone sitting in or around the impact area could have been seriously injured or killed."
The bus driver said similar incidents have happened recently, especially in the Bromborough area, including gangs targeting cars. He added "it's only a matter of time before someone gets killed".
He described the gang as wearing "all black with balaclavas". Pictures of the scene showed the smashed window with glass on the seats. It appears the window was towards the back of the bus. A spokesperson for Merseyside Police confirmed there were no injuries.
They said: "We are appealing for information after criminal damage to a bus in Bromborough last night, Wednesday March 22. At 7.35pm, we received a report from Stagecoach of a bus window being smashed at the junction of Mark Rake and The Rake.
"No injuries were caused and enquiries are ongoing. Anyone who witnessed the incident, captured anything on CCTV, dashcam or doorbell devices, or saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area, is asked to come forward to @MerPolCC with reference 23000244344."
A spokesperson for Stagecoach Merseyside and South Lancashire said: "We can confirm that an incident occurred last night in the Mark Rake area. Safety is our number one priority and we can confirm there were no injuries and services were diverted for the remainder of the evening.
"We will continue working with police and Travelsafe to reduce these incidents."
