A man who was jailed for shooting a rival in the legs with a s awn-off shotgun is wanted by police.
Josh Jago, from Huyton, was previously jailed in 2010 for eight years when he opened the door to a car on Radway Road and shot the victim at point blank range in an "act of cold blooded viciousness." After being released, he was jailed for a further eight months in 2018 and handed an an indefinite restraining order after threatening to put the mother of his child "in a box."
The 29-year-old is now wanted by police again in connection with reports of harassment and domestic abuse made from July 2021 to December 13, 2021. Jago was previously on Merseyside Police’s Matrix list of gun crime nominals – a catalogue of the county’s worst and most active gun criminals.

He was found guilty of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and possessing a firearm with intent to commit an offence, after carrying out the shooting for cash to feed his cannabis habit. When released from jail for the shooting, he was given a condition not to contact his ex-girlfriend, who he was convicted of assaulting twice.
A spokesperson for Merseyside police said: "We are appealing for help in finding a man from Huyton who is wanted in connection to domestic abuse. Josh Jago, aged 29 is wanted in connection with reports of harassment and domestic abuse made from 1 July 2021 – 13 December 2021.
"Jago is described as a white male, 5ft 2in tall, of medium build with fair hair and blue eyes. He is known to have links to Kingsway and other areas in Huyton.
"Anyone who has seen him or knows of his whereabouts is asked to DM @MerPolCC with reference 21000809551 or call @CrimestoppersUK on 0800 555 111."
