A violent thug brutally attacked a hotel receptionist after he was told there were no available rooms. Joshua Leatherland also assaulted a woman who had arrived at the hotel with him.
The 23-year-old became enraged when he was told that there were no rooms free at the Ibis hotel in Newport in the early hours of July 16. He quickly became aggressive and started punching and stamping on receptionist Thundiyil Abraham's head, Wales Online reports.
The victim sustained serious injuries in the attack, including a painful hairline fracture to his rib. He had told the offender several times that there were no vacancies in the hotel, however Leatherland and his female companion continued to demand a room.
