She could have designer clothes, beautiful jewellery and expensive shoes at her fingertips. But the Princess of Wales often shows she loves a bargain buy just as much as the rest of us - and steps out in High Street gems.
Just yesterday, on a visit to Scarborough, Kate wore a pair of gold-plated twisted earrings, which were a repeat wear, from the High Street chain Accessorize. And not only were they from the High Street, they were also reduced and can currently be snapped up for just £1.50. Here we look at some of the other times Kate has raided the shops and found a bargain...
Dress for £16
Kate probably has her pick of designer clothes and has occasionally worn pieces from the likes of Alexander McQueen and Jenny Packham.
But more often than not, she is often seen in more affordable garments that can be easily picked up on the High Street.
Last year, on a visit to University College London, Kate stepped out in a beautiful monochrome hounds tooth dress, complete with a pussy bow neck.
And it turned out it was actually from Zara and cost just £16. Not only that, it was an old dress, with Kate having worn it during a visit to Bradford in 2020.
Trainers for £30
In 2020, Kate visited the London Stadium at the Olympic Park as part of an engagement with the charity Sportsaid.
And it's no wonder that she opted to wear a pair of trainers given she got stuck in and showed off her sporty side.
But instead of wearing an expensive pair of white trainers, they actually cost £30 from M&S.
Skirt for £9.99
Zara seems to be a go-to store for Kate to find bargains - and wore another gem from the brand in Cardiff in January 2020.
While on a visit to a baby sensory session she wore a chick leopard-print skirt that cost just £9.99 - that later sold out.
She completed the look with a black polo neck jumper, heeled boots and camel coat from fellow High Street chain Massimo Dutti.
Earrings for £2.10
Kate might wear a priceless engagement ring that once belonged to her late mother-in-law Princess Diana.
But as proved yesterday, she also mixes her high-end pieces with more affordable jewellery.
However, it is not the first time she's raided Accessorize for bargain earrings, at the beginning of the year she also wore earrings from the store costing £2.10.
The subtle hoops, which had been reduced from £7, were on show as she visited the Foundling Museum in January.
Trousers for £22
As well as Zara, another High Street of favourite of Kate's appears to be Gap.
And in 2016, she wore skinny leg patterned trousers costing just £22 from the store, which she paired with a classic white T-shirt.
Meanwhile, she's also been seen in pieces from ASOS and on receiving her Covid jab last year, she was pictured wearing jeans costing £65 from & Other Stories.
Her kids' clothes
It's not just Kate who sometimes dresses in High Street clothes - her children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis do too.
In 2014, she was spotted perusing the kids' clothes in the former Gap store near her Kensington Palace home, where she is said to have picked out some items for Prince George, who at the time was just a baby.
Meanwhile in 2020, in their Christmas card portrait, George sported a brown Regatta fleece top that was said to have cost just £5.
Similarly, in last April, Prince Louis wore a pair of £25 Adidas trainers in his third birthday portrait while Princess Charlotte wore a £10 Zara dress in pictures taken by Kate released to mark her daughter's fifth birthday.
