Hamilton three-year-old with leukaemia turned away by 10 doctors who blamed 'childhood ailments'

A mum asked at least 10 doctors to test her little girl before they finally acted and diagnosed her with leukaemia.

Ilona Zahorski threatened to take the three-year-old abroad after medics continually dismissed her symptoms as childhood ailments.

Toddler Theano was taken to her GP, A&E and NHS 24 who diagnosed conditions ranging from chest, urine and ear infections to constipation, an allergy and even arthritis, the Daily Record reports.
