A three-year-old boy has been airlifted to hospital following a horror crash on a Scots road.
Emergency services raced to the A98 near New Pitsligo, Aberdeenshire, after the alarm was raised at around 12.45pm on Sunday. Ambulance crews attended and the young boy was airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.
A six-year-old girl and a 27-year-old woman were also rushed to the same hospital by road. It is currently not known what condition any of the three people are in.
A picture taken from the scene showed a number of ambulances at the scene as police closed off the road. It's understood a black car spun off the road and crashed through a barbed wire fence before ending up in a field.
