Three emergency bushfire warnings have been issued in Western Australia. (AAP)

Bushfire emergency warnings are in place for residents of three West Australian communities who have been warned there is a threat to lives and homes.

The warnings issued on Friday evening are for southern parts of Jerramungup town site in the shire of Jerramungup, for parts of Hopetoun in the shire of Ravensthorpe and for parts of Mount Sheridan in the shire of Lake Grace.
